We are a non-profit nursing facility that provides quality care for the aged, disabled, and chronically ill who cannot be properly cared for in their homes. The diversity of today’s residents, their needs and medical necessities, pose a daily challenge that must be met.
Our well-trained staff accepts the challenge of meeting the physical and psycho-social needs of each resident through quality resident care.
At Good Samaritan Living Center, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care for seniors. We strive to meet and exceed their needs, as well as the needs of their families. Our well-trained and compassionate staff work hard to make our residents feel at home through the services and personal care we provide.
Good Samaritan Living Center is a not-for-profit, Christian facility, founded by the ministers and laity of the 3rd District Bogue Chitto Missionary Baptist Association in 1987. Open to all denominations, the employees of this 84-bed facility are committed to the total care of our residents, to include their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
We fully believe in the healing power of modern medicine but also in the therapeutic value of a gentle touch, a kind word, and a prayer. We provide professional healthcare in a warm, loving, and clean environment. We invite you to experience the difference of a non-profit facility who invests all of its financial resources back into the facility to continuously improve the quality of life of our residents.
Good Samaritan is located in beautiful Franklinton, Louisiana, a small town of just under 4,000 people. A peaceful town with a slow pace, mild climate, and low crime rate, Franklinton is the host of the famous Washington Parish Free Fair. We are close enough to the Gulf to enjoy beautiful subtropical weather, but far enough inland to be safe from almost anything the Gulf throws our way.
We strive to provide a family and friendly oriented atmosphere with a warm and caring staff. It is our goal of making this facility their
Home Away From Home.
